1. GT Racing - Best PC Gaming Chair For Your Money
Now this is a racing seat. The GT Racing chair actually looks like it belongs in a rally car rather in front of your desk, and even the reclining lever feels like it was taken right out of a sports car.
It’s important to note that at just over half the price for one of the top end brands, the GT Racing delivers enough build quality - mostly thanks to it's steel frame and PU leather upholstery to be in this list.
One of the strangest chair features is that it actually feels much more comfortable without the headrest and lumbar support pillows that are supposedly to make things better.
But what I really love about this chair is that it’s actually more cotton material than it is leather, which I actually prefer.
2. Homall Gaming Chair
Homall is designed to be used both as a gaming office seat. This is a strong, yet comfy chair that is ideal for both gaming AND office use. You'll be able to comfortably sit in the chair for long hours - this chair is great for that purpose.

Additionally, one of the most interesting features about this desk chair for gaming seems to be that it seems to be very budget friendly without compromising on any of the other important features.
For such a reasonable price tag, though, it is an interesting piece of furniture for both office and gaming use. The Homall chairs have been extensively reviewed various website, so you can do your further research before you buy.
3. Kinsal: Relatively Unknown Brand, But A Good Alternative
What I Love: Cheaper than DXRacer + Lumbar and Neck Support
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're buying a Kinsal chair, make sure you're buying the newer version which you can find if you click the button above. Kinsal produced an older model completely sucks balls. DO NOT BUY THE OLD VERSION. I repeat, DO NOT BUY THE OLD VERSION.
If most of your day is spent in front of the PC playing games, the Kinsal chair would make your leisure time more enjoyable and would give you a more immersive and satisfying experience. A relatively new company, Kinsal is making its mark in the e-sports community by developing and producing high quality racing-style chairs.
Poor sitting position and posture for extended periods of time has the potential to lead to many harmful side effects. Kinsal is devoted in innovating and producing more products to improve your quality of gaming life.
This company designs professional looking seats with the principle of ergonomics, making their products suitable for longtime working or playing.
Thanks to its lumbar and neck pillow filled with a polyester cotton blend that is both soft and comfortable, you could sit in it for hours without complaint.
So whether you’re working under high pressure, or playing an intense nexus defense, Kinsal will surely help you relieve the harmful side effects of sitting improperly.
It also allows 90 to 180-degree backseat tilt, so whatever position and reclining angle you are used to, this seat can definitely accommodate. This multiple reclining positions allow you to use it as sort of a “bed” too.
Kinsal can also support a huuuuge range of weights thanks to its tubular steel frame and metal base – it can carry up to a maximum weight of 350 pounds. When it comes to upholstery, Kinsal is made with high-quality PU leather; it can easily be cleaned and even after years of use, it will still look just as good as the day you bought it.
This seat is extremely easy to assemble and it comes with the tools to do it yourself without any additional tools required if you follow the manual.
What’s our take on this? This is a very comfortable seat. With all its features, it will surely fit even the pickiest gamer’s needs.
So if you’re into MMORPG and loves to relax a bit when you play, this computer seat will keep you feeling good without discomfort. And with its very reasonable price, this is by far the feature that makes Kinsal one of the best choices over other seats.
4. DXRacer Formula Racing Series: Best Brand In The Market
Considered as the most popular brand for gamers at the moment, DXRacer which was founded in 2003, not only specializes in chairs for gamers, but also with a variety of gear and accessories that are designed to improve your playing experience.
As a major key player in providing a better playing experience, it’s well-made and stylish products are increasingly getting more popular – most streamers, e-sports organizations, and pro gamers alike use DXRacers, especially the Formula series as it suits more body types.
The DXRacer Formula series is ergonomically designed. Meaning, it has adjustment features that enable it to adapt to your seating preference: adjust the chair height, arm height, and backrest angle and tilt (the backseat can be adjusted up to 12 position) to your most comfortable position.
Too tired to stay up all night playing WoW raids or League of Legends?
Simply recline up to 135 degrees (up to 170 degrees on some models!) and take a nap!
The DXRacer Formula Series is made to ensure that nothing will distract you from playing your favorite titles as they are made from high-end PVC leather and features high quality materials such as a high-density cold cure foam filling and tubular steel frame with impeccable craftsmanship.
The polyurethane caster wheels are amazing too, and you will able to squirm around in your seat however you want and it will also keep you in place when necessary.
Lastly the extra lumbar and neck supports that comes with the chair provides additional comfort as well. Definitely one of the best gaming seats in the market.
Is buying a DXRacer seat worth it? Definitely YES!
The most amazing aspect of DXRacer is obviously the comfort. However, due to its ergonomic build, the seat really wants you to sit in a specific way. But this is truly beneficial for gamers who will sit in it for some time.
When used consistently, a DXRacer will surely improve your posture, and most importantly, your overall playing experience will be better because you’ll remain comfortable for longer hours of playing and that’s really worth your money!

5. AK Racing: Good Alternative And Our 2nd Best Choice
My Favorite Model: The K-7 Premium Chair
Update June 1, 2018: After a year, I'm bumping the AKRacing seat down from my top 3. Don't get me wrong - this is still one of the best PC gaming chairs out there. It's just that there have been an influx of decent quality seats at cheaper prices. The cost of manufacturing these chairs must have gone lower.
UPDATE June 1, 2017: I've decided to promote AK-Racing as my 2nd best gaming alternative instead. Over the course of several months I've noticed that it's actually well-made (better than Kinsal, actually). It's been the official seat in the LCK (League Champions Korea) as well, so that's a great testament to their quality. I have a friend who loves his AK-Racing too.
AK Racing is one of the world’s popular seat manufacturers (for gamers!), innovating the highest quality products that are available in the market today.
With the most vibrant and visually attractive racing-esque combination of black and various colors, the K-7 looks definitely impressive, and it certainly is a great advancement from those that are so hyped on the market.
The armrests and the seat height are very easily adjustable (up and down) so taller players should be able to find the right setting for their suitable comfort position.
Along with adjusting them up and down you can twist them inward and outward.
The base is a five-wheel metal base that provides significant amount of focus on stability while its metal wheels and frame won’t break easily too, and that is why the AKRacing K-7 feels so sturdy and solid.
This computer seat is extremely safe and strong.
It also features a versatile backrest adjustment to reach your desired angle. It can be tilted 12-degrees and can lay back almost 90-degrees. Just pull up the leveler located on the side of the chair. And even when the backseat is fully tilted, you will never feel like you are falling down, thanks to the previously detailed metal solid frame.
AK Racing’s size can also accommodate almost any body type. The back and the depth of the seat is wide and deep enough to fit both narrow and wide shouldered individuals.
The Akracing gets a clear recommendation to buy from our side! From its attractive racing seat looks, to the high quality upholstery, to the solid metal framework this furniture screams quality.
Overall it meets the durability and comfort requirements of game enthusiast and professionals everywhere. And that’s exactly where this chair makes a difference!
6. E-Blue Auroza EEC305B – Love It For The Unique Design
E-Blue is a Japanese company that produces gamer’s peripherals like mice, keyboards and even chairs. The company is well-known for its affordable products with an outstanding quality.

With its unique design with ergonomic features and support the Auroza will ensure you stay supported while playing.
An adjustable height system is also present, utilizing a class-4 gas piston to help you adjust your seat to your desired height using hand controls. This makes it safe and easy to adjust.
Another nice feature is the 360-degree adjustable armrest, allowing you to tailor the best gaming setting or resting position for yourself.
Designwise, the E-blue Auroza comes with a fully chromed base.
Additionally, it has LED illumination on the back of the seat (adjustable up to 4 modes of blue and red colors) and changes when you sit down.
My favorite feature of all? Its lighting features which are powered by an included battery bank that slips into the panel on the back of the chair, so there’s no chance you’ll get tangled up with dangling cables.
Its wheels are made from Nylon + 30% fiberglass and PU injection molding roll smoothly on most surfaces, all of which can be locked into place. Due to its Five-point quality metal base, the E-Blue seat is also strong enough to can support up to 800 pounds.
The only thing I'm worried about is that it seems to be top-heavy, so I'm
Overall, the E-Blue Auroza is worth it as a gaming chair. Not only does the E-Blue give you all the adjustments you would ever need to get comfortable during your intense League or DoTA matches, it also does it with style.
For anyone that is looking for a heavy duty seat that is going to last through extreme online matches at home, whether you’re looking to replace your old chair, or you’re in the market to buy your first one, the E-Blue is a practical choice since it’s an everyday use item that can fully personalized your needs.

12. Mid Back Mesh Ergonomic Computer Desk Chair
What's the whole point of getting a specially designed gaming chair? It's really all about the gaming ergonomics, you're getting a specially-designed seat because you need something that'll avoid becoming butt hurt after spending the whole night in blood-curdling intense battlefields.
That's what all the bucks are for. But sadly, not everyone has the greens to spare - or rather there are more important things to buy, like that upcoming DLC.The point is, some gamers need a cheap alternative.
As a run-of-the-mill chair, you'd think you're spending way too much when you can get something more student-friendly. I hope you'd reconsider, even though you may not be able to afford something more premium, it's still important to put some investment into your gaming comfort.
With an adjustable height and built-in back support, this is probably the best gaming chair under 50 bucks.
Sure it's not gaming quality, but who cares? you have more cash to spend on the next game or upgrading your rig.
It still has a great fabric mesh seat that I find very comfortable for a good mid-day sit down, and the backrest breathes so well, you'll never stand up and feel a waterfall trickling down your back.
Value-for-money, bang-for-buck, however, you say it the fact of the matter is that you won't spend more than you need to and you'll still get a comfortable seat to help you trudge through whatever world you're currently visiting at the moment.
Even better, you'll have some left over for the next massive game sale around the corner.
13. SPACE Seating Professional AirGrid Leather Seat
We all know there are executive chairs, but then apparently there are also managers chairs. Who knew that was a thing?
Well, either way, the Space Seat Airgrid leather set still deserves a spot in this roundup. Sure, it's not a gaming-style chair per se, but it's still a great alternative considering some of the gaming like features.
This managers chair stands out from the typical office chair, well, because first of all, it's premium PU leather. Second, it's got armrests which you can easily adjust - something almost never seen on office-type chairs.
You see it in executive chairs, yes, but not in lowly chairs you see in cubicles which is usually for employees. then again, of course, this is a "managers' chair after all. So meaning it's almost executive, but not quite.
Which reflects in some parts of the design. Such as the backrest, which is one of those stylish mesh computer seat designs, but that’s not the issue. It’s that the slimmer lower end may not be very comfortable for those with wide bottoms - I can say that right?
Which makes it clear this chair is for average sizes and below.
The arm rests are adjustable which adds a beautiful touch, although they only go up and down, but still worth noting especially since they do have some basic PU padding.
Although a little on the higher price range, still something worth taking into consideration if you're not really into that overtly "eSports-y" chair or if you're looking for something more practical than stylish.
I know I mentioned that the backrest is a little weird at the bottom, but with the built-in back support it’ll still provide that proper PC gaming posture, which is the whole point of spending on a gaming seat in the first place.
14 . Flash Furniture Executive Swivel Chair
If you've ever watched Starship Troopers, that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this. Or maybe a Zergling. But there is a reason for this.
Although not specifically stated in its official description, I think it's safe to say this is an executive gaming chair. Because the Flash Furniture chair serves somewhere in between.
Now it may not look like the typical gaming chair, but it does come with a lot of features you'd expect in chairs of the "gaming" variety.
For one it has a contoured seat cushion. It's not exactly a racing bucket seat, but it serves the same purpose.
Sadly though, not for anyone larger than average. Actually, even if you're of average build you might find it a bit awkward as the seat cushion is smaller than usual.
They do have the triple paddle system which gives its alien bug-like look. This is of great convenience since it allows you to make adjustments on the fly rather than having to get up and fiddle around with the mechanisms.
This would be a great chair to buy in place of an actual gaming chair, but for the right price.
I say that because the price varies depending on the seller, and not by a small margin. If you can get it for under 200 bucks then it's a definite steal.
15. Essentials Gaming Chair
It's called the Essentials Racing Style chair but I'd say Battlestar Commander's chair would be a more suitable description.
It makes sense that the other Essentials line up of chairs seem to be for office use. Sure there are racing-style accents on it, but I can't help but believe this is an office computer seat more than the gaming chairs similar to DXRacer.
The Essentials does have "adjustable" armrests, in that they wither flip up or down. Which I dunno if it actually qualifies for the term "adjustable".
What it does have going for it is a very accommodating seat cushion. The actual width measurement is standard, but because it's not a bucket seat there's more comfort for wide bottoms.
Technically, it can fit even wider gamers since you can flip down the armrests altogether. But I don't see why you'd do that since their fabric mesh padded and very comfortable if you like to lean back when gaming.
More often, you'll see gaming seats designed more for PC gaming ergonomics. But with this one, you can kick back with a controller, console, or even mobile phone.
It's a chair that doesn't look like one, but it's comfortable. And for something that's under 100 bucks, there's really not much to complain about.
It has a few colors to choose from, allowing you to match the chair to your space station - I mean, game station.
16. Devoko Ergonomic Gaming Chair
The Devoko Ergonomic gaming chair is a racing-style chair like DXRacer, no surprise there since a lot of the emerging brands are trying to take a piece of the pie. Don't get me wrong, it's not just a knock-off, but a viable alternative for just a fraction of the price.
There are actually a few models to choose from, but the base model is a red and black chair for under 100.
Supposedly the maximum weight capacity is up to 300 lbs, but as a bucket seat gaming chair, there are pros and cons to this.
For one it limits the size since the wrap around can press against your thighs and but for the average joe gamer, it's more like a comforting hug.
Still, it's a high-back chair so the adjustable headrest and lumbar pillows are great whether you're short or tall.
The armrests aren't adjustable, but a small drawback considering the price. They're in a comfortable enough position nonetheless, and you can choose just to leave them off completely if you prefer.
You get what you pay for and for the price, it's a good choice. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the high-end brands, but you can't beat affordable.
17. Coavas PC Chair
Usually, racing-style seats have red tones. Most likely because of certain exotic sports cars. But there is a growing trend of white leather computer chairs. Even the most reputable brands like DXRacer and AKracing also have models with white tones.
For one they have a more professional look over red, blue, and most other racing colors. probably because they look cleaner with the high contrast between black and white tones.
The Coavas gaming seat is more of an executive seat with its subtle white tones, it's actually more black than it is white. for someone who's a minimalist, this is very appealing.
If you're not into the loud Fast and Furious color schemes than this white chair will be a much better fit.
Unfortunately, a lot of the parts feel a bit plasticky, including the casters, which can be a bit concerning although they do state that the chair can handle up to 280 lbs.
And since it's not a bucket seat, the chair can easily accommodate bigger and larger. It's comfortable all-around and the fabric mesh lining is an especially nice feel.
At just over a 100 bucks, you'd expect a bit more but the Coavas makes up for it with its sleek professional look and comfortable cushioning that fits a whole variety of body sizes and weights.
18. Furmax High Back Chair
If you haven't heard of the Furmax gaming chair, then you haven't really been looking. With a high Amazon rating, it's hard to miss.
There are a lot of gaming chairs to choose from nowadays and it's hard for one to really stand out. Fortunately, the Furmax does have a few things going for it.
The first thing you'll notice with this chair is the fold out footrest. The thing is, it's both good and bad.
It's nice to have the option of a footrest when you need it, but the design was clearly not thought out very well.
The footrest doesn't go out that far so it could end up as a calf rest, or even a thigh rest rather than for feet.
Plus the aluminum railing has sharp edges which will hurt. so make sure to be careful getting off and on the chair when the footrest is extended.
Along will full recline, armrests that are adjustable, lumbar and headrest pillows, this high-back chair has a lot going for it. And even though there are only two color models to choose from, they're both under 200 bucks.
I gotta say that they could use better color tones and the style designs aren't that appealing, but for everything it has going for it plus the incredibly low price, it’s pretty much a steal.
So as long as you can look past the weird zebra stripes on the backrest, then might as well just go for it!
19. SEATZONE Smile Face Series Leather Gaming Chair
Let’s be honest, it looks cheap. And what the heck is a “Smile Face Series”? That’s just disturbing. But behind its awkward exterior, the Seatzone chair is surprisingly comfortable.
Seriously for a seat under 100 bucks, I can see why you might just glaze over it in the search results, but give it a moment and think about it. Under 100 dollars. That's a steal in itself.
The leather stitching around the corner seams can do with some improvements, although that may be a dealbreaker for some if you’re not planning on doing videos or live streams then I really don’t see why it should be an issue considering the price.
It's also lacking armrests functionalities and can't recline all that far, but I honestly never use those features that much so I doubt most others would either.
One last thing to note, the advertised maximum capacity is 300 lbs.
Sadly, I highly doubt it'll ever be tested since the bucket seat and backrest height isn't exactly accommodating for the big and large body types. So I wouldn't take the large gaming chair claim at face value.
Like I mentioned, I wouldn’t recommend it as a streamer chair since it's not all that pretty to look at. But it accomplishes what it needs to and for a fraction of the price, that's good in my opinion.
For the price and the comfort alone, the SeatZone leather chair will put a smile on your face - maybe that's what the series name implies.
20. BestOffice Ergonomic PU Leather High Back Chair
I’ve always wanted to own one of those ridiculous armrests with built-in icebox and pop out table so I’ll never leave the TV room ever again - except maybe to take a piss.
Now it may not be a recliner, but the BestOffice leather high back chair is just, oh, so comfortable (more than the BestOffice Mid-Back Mesh one). Makes you feel like you’re sinking right in.
But you’re probably wondering, “Wait a minute, it doesn’t have gaming on any part of the description!” Yes, you are correct, Mr. Holmes, but that doesn’t disqualify the fact that office chairs can easily provide the same level of comfort as high-end gaming chairs. Some executive chairs are arguably even better.
The price, however, is up there with gaming chairs like DXRacer, but not to fret, being an executive chair means you’re paying for premium materials.
The comfort level and durability are clearly visible and clearly felt, in fact, the problem could be that it’s too comfortable. So would that be a pro or a con?
Of course, since it’s made for office work, there’s a lot of lacking features like armrests that are adjustable or a full recline capability, but then again, most of gaming are done sitting up anyway.
With a weight limit of 250 pounds though, don’t expect this for the big and large either, but if you’re an average joe, then you’ll definitely fall in love - or more likely - fall asleep in one of these babies.
The BestOffice lives up to its name, that pretty much about wraps it up. It is probably the best gaming AND executive chair I've tried, and even without the "gaming" branding, it doesn't really matter anyway.
There's the price, of course, but if you actually live in the real world for a change and do home office work as well, I'd say this is a natural buy.
What About “Office” Chairs?
Way before, I lumped office and PC gaming chairs together thinking they’re one and the same.
Boy was I…right.
In all honesty, office and gaming chairs almost works in the same way. If you just want to have something comfortable for your ass you can definitely opt for a cheaper desk chair.
However, there are two MAJOR things that separate them:
Most Reputable Chair Brands For Gamers
Since it's foundation back in 2001, DXRacer has been making racing seats. Although they were more literal in usage making actual seats for actual luxury sports cars.
They started making racing-style gaming chairs in 2006, and have truly built a large following making them one of the most recognizable brands in many eSports communities.
The reason behind AKRacing's success is that they have real experience in literal racing seats. After all, they've built them for actual sports cars back in 2001.
Now with eSports partnerships and a list of popular streamers who use their various models, AKRacing has built their name in the gaming arena from the ground up.
Especially since they take lots of pride in the research, design, and manufacturing of their seats.
GT Racing is based in China where they have been churning out high-quality racing-style gaming chairs since 2011. They may be fairly new compared to other brands, but they've been making a name of their own in the gaming scene.
Especially considering their competitive pricing compared to the other high-end gaming brands. For the moment they only have three model series, but it's enough to have shipped globally.
Merax has been around since 1995 and they're not limited to just computer gaming chairs. In fact, they don't actually specialize in gaming chairs like other brands.
However, it's clear that their experience in home and office furniture has carried over into gaming ergonomics. With positive rating and even an Amazon's Choice label, they're clearly getting it right.
The Sudden Influx Of New Gaming PC Gaming Chair Brands
There’s no denying that gaming has been gaining substantial ground with the mainstream boom of eSports, and that’s a good thing.
There was a time when you could only get gaming accessories from top-end brands, which could sometimes cost a kidney or two.
But now there are several companies to choose from, and a lot of them won’t burn through your wallet. Of course it makes one wonder about the quality of the products, but for the most part, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
There is a shift now in the gaming market, and finding a good but affordable brand is not as hard as you may think as long as you make sure you check what you're getting.
Another thing you'll discover after a lot of digging is that many chairs appear to be exactly the same, but with different branding and maybe even different pricing, although it’s usually not by much.
The point is, don't take a high rating at face value, take the time to read through the reviews. You can even check out recommendations for the best gaming chairs on reddit and other reputable online communities.
